Aisha Yesufu, a fervent supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, received a national honor from President Bola Tinubu, according to the Presidency, which has rejected the publication.
Temitope Ajaiyi, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, reportedly called the report on the alleged honor “fake news” in a post via X on Friday.
In contrast to President Tinubu’s remarks during the joint session of the National Assembly on Thursday, the Presidency has not released any new honor lists, according to Tinubu’s assistant.

According to him, the Leadership newspaper’s report on a widely shared list of national honors that includes Aisha Yesufu’s and other people’s names is false. You should disregard it. In contrast to President Tinubu’s remarks to yesterday’s joint session of the National Assembly, the Presidency has not released any new honors lists.
