Behind Closed Doors: PDP Leadership Meets INEC in Abuja

At the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) headquarters in Abuja, on Tuesday, the PDP’s leadership met behind closed doors with key personnel.

Following a brief news conference, the meeting is a component of the PDP’s strategic engagements in anticipation of its next National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting. These talks also coincide with internal party leadership and election strategy debates.

Although the meeting’s specifics were not made public, those with knowledge of the situation said that the party’s adherence to INEC rules, the coming off-cycle elections, and internal party procedures and organization were among the main topics on the agenda.
