In Abuja, members of the opposition coalition have converged at the Yar’Dua Center to see the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, being unveiled as the political movement’s platform.
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s 2023 presidential contender, Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State, and others were reportedly present at the event.
Former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola and former Senate President David Mark, who were recently named ADC’s national secretary and interim national chairman, are also in attendance.
