According to Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Okey Ralph Nwosu, the former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), is the happiest man in the party.
It was reported that on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a group of the nation’s opposition leaders decided to run against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election by using the ADC as their platform.
Former Senate President David Mark and other coalition members took over as the party’s leaders, while Nwosu, a founding member and longtime national chairman, resigned along with other party administrators.
In response, Igbokwe implied in a post on his official Facebook page that Nwosu had fought for the party for years and that now was his day to shine.
According to his post, Chief Okey Nwosu is the luckiest guy in this ADC Coalition. He’s been having trouble with this party for a long time.
“All right, Nwannem, get as much as you can. Now is your moment. You worked hard to earn it. However, the little bird is unable to fly. Get out of here, buddy.
