Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), claims opponents of progress are upset because he has reconciled with his successor, Siminalayi Fubara, the suspended Governor of Rivers State.
Wike made this statement during a media briefing in Abuja on Thursday, claiming that peace has returned to the state.

He claimed that several persons had turned the state’s crises into a “oil well,” from which they were extracting illegal monies for their own benefit.
The minister went on to say that he has no need to explain the details of his and Fubara’s truce.
