The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has a new governing board that was inaugurated by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo.
The minister’s special assistant on digital media, Gbenga Saka, stated in a post on X on Wednesday that Abdullahi Ganduje, the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will chair the board.

This occurs a few days after Ganduje resigned as chairman of the ruling party.
President Bola Tinubu appointed a secretary to the board of the civil defense, immigration, and prisons services on January 24. He also named board chairs for 42 federal organizations.
Tinubu named Raji Kolawole as the director-general of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) and Kayode Opeifa as the managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).
In addition, Ganduje was named FAAN’s board chair, while Felix Morka, the APC spokesperson, was named Federal Medical Center, Yenagoa’s board chair.
