Seun Kuti, an Afrobeats musician, has responded to the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kuti said that his family was the only one in Nigeria to be as severely harmed by the late leader.
The Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti’s youngest son, Seun, made this revelation in a video posted on his Instagram page.
He described the alleged mistreatment of his father and his uncles, Beko and Koye, during Buhari’s tenure as military head of state.

He said he regrets that the individuals he admired passed away so long before Buhari and that he does not believe the former president’s passing was a just outcome.
Although he cannot bring his loved ones back, the musician said he takes some solace in the idea that they might band together against Buhari in the hereafter.
Nobody has been as hurt and insulted by Buhari as my family. Buhari dealt with my family, but my family has not received any justice or triumph from his passing.
“My only sorrow is that my dad, Fela, and my uncles, Koye and Beko, who were all finer men than him, passed away before him. “The only comfort I can find in his passing is that, if there is such a thing, the three of them will band together against him in the afterlife,” the singer remarked.
