The N500b Produce For Lagos Off-Take Guarantee Fund was put into operation on Wednesday by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in order to guarantee food availability, affordability, and security in the state.
In addition, Tolu Elemelu, the chairman of Heir Holdings and the Elumelu Foundation, contributed ₦25 billion to the project.

According to Bisola Olusanya, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, the event marks the “launch of a bold history-shaping intervention” that aims to reward all stakeholders in the food systems value chain, rewire the food chain, and reconnect rural abandon with urban demand.
