In an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program on Tuesday, Yemi Adaramodu, the spokesperson for the National Assembly’s red chamber, made this claim.

The lawmaker attempted to return to Senate business on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, but was denied access.
