Contrary to popular belief, veteran Nollywood actress Ego Boyo has stated that her choice to retire from acting was motivated by personal desire rather than marital pressure.
According to Naija News, the 56-year-old talked with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality.
According to the actress, she quit performing when she realized that making movies fulfilled her more.
According to her, she decided to concentrate on working behind the scenes in the film industry because she was no longer enthused about performing.
“After realizing that I preferred producing over acting, I quit acting,” she stated. It was dreary. The blogs wanted it to be sensational, similar to how my husband prohibited me from it, but it wasn’t.
Boyo started her career in the entertainment sector in the 1980s and rose to recognition in the early 1990s with her role in the television series Checkmate.
Her time has been devoted to film production and other artistic endeavors since she left acting.
Also, she addressed the rumors that her spouse prevented her from performing, claiming that they were untrue and were intended to create drama.

In other news, Efa Iwara, a Nigerian actor, has come out as dissatisfied with his present performance.
The Men’s Club actor reportedly made the statement while speaking with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality.
The movie star said that he feels he hasn’t yet realized his full potential, despite his growth.
Iwara stated that he believes he has a lot of potential and is prepared to challenge himself, provided it does not negatively impact his health.
“No,” he stated. I’m not content with my career at the moment. I feel like I have a lot more potential. There seems to be a lot of unrealized potential. If I can avoid having a breakdown, I feel like I could work twice as hard as I do now. I simply can’t seem to get content.
