Nigeria Will Rise Again But Not Under Tinubu, Says Giwa

Nigerians are accused of having hope that the country’s economy will improve, but not under the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adewale Giwa, the senior pastor of the Second Coming of Christ’s Ministry, made this statement on Sunday during a sermon at his Akure church.

He accused the nation’s prophets of being involved in the socioeconomic problems by selling their divine abilities to unbelievers for cash.

Giwa pointed out that the electorate erred in removing former President Goodluck Jonathan from office due to what he called the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) dishonesty.

He claimed that since the APC took office, the country’s economy has been in severe crisis.

Giwa stated: “To pray for Nigeria, I got up at precisely 1 p.m. this morning. “Do we still have prophets in Nigeria?” I asked God as I was praying.

“As you are aware, I am not a prophet; I am a pastor. A prophet is a seer who speaks the will of God, whereas a pastor is a shepherd who leads and tends to a flock while concentrating on teaching. Another way to characterize a prophet is as God’s spokesperson.

“The devil has placed a false Spirit in the mouths of some of our prophets,” the Spirit of the Lord informed me. In other words, much as Esau sold his birthright to his younger brother Jacob for soup, they have also sold the gift of prophecy to unbelievers in exchange for cash. As a result, the Lord claimed that he had abandoned them to mislead Nigeria.

Politics is complicated, and there aren’t many politicians that genuinely care about the people. Voting out was a mistake on our part, Dr. Good luck, Jonathan. The APC presented itself as an angel, oblivious to the fact that they were going to bring poverty to Nigeria. Do I mean that Jonathan ought to return? No.

“In the meantime, I firmly believe that Nigeria will rise once more, but not under the current leadership. From better to worse, things have changed since the APC assumed power in 2015.

The innovative priest promised Nigerians that someone will come from among the nation’s minority ethnic groups to save the country’s economy from impending collapse.

According to him, the APC utilized Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the most recent general elections, to undermine the opposition’s chances in the general elections scheduled for 2023.

Giwa added that it would be difficult to predict if Obi would continue to play the same part in the 2027 presidential election.

“Many of you may know a man named Peter Obi,” he continued. In 2023, I was the first to call him a pretender. I stood out from the crowd and clung to my gut even when some fleshly-led men of God backed him.

He is not a serious politician, let me state that. As he did in the 2023 presidential race, the individual is already cashing out. It is difficult for his fans to accept that God knows him better than he does. He wants to complete tasks on the gold plate.

In 2023, he was employed by the ruling party to split some votes. If they would utilize him again, only time will tell. Tinubu’s four-year tenure is preferable to Peter Obi’s as Nigeria’s president. Tribalism, nepotism, and greed will all be present under Obi’s reign.

“Someone from the minority ethnic group that the Lord will use to restructure the nation is coming, but not this time.”
