Rufai’s departure was also lamented by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State chapter.
She was praised by party spokeswoman Seye Oladejo as a “rising star within the APC” whose leadership demonstrated “commitment, grassroots service, and gender inclusion.”
Despite her brief tenure, Oladejo observed that Rufai left a lasting effect because of her commitment to community development and adherence to the party’s ideals.
He said, “Her legacy of service, courage, and vision will not be forgotten,” and offered his condolences to her family, constituents, and the Ibeju-Lekki community.
