Governor of Niger State Umaru Bago has announced his intention to serve as the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in 2027, which aims to re-elect President Bola Tinubu.
Bago made the announcement Tuesday while giving a speech in the state capital of Minna, according to reports.

The governor further declared that Tinubu’s campaign headquarters would be in the state.
Bago insisted that the North and South have an unspoken agreement on the power-sharing arrangement, while lashing out at those pushing for a northern candidate ahead of the 2027 election.

The campaign headquarters for Asiwaju 2027 is in Niger State, and I am now the self-appointed Director General of the Tinubu campaign for 2027,” he stated.

Since we are Nigerians, we adore our country. There is an unspoken agreement in Nigeria that the North and the South will alternate control. Peace has been restored to this nation.

“We just wrapped up former President Muhammadu Buhari’s term, and Asiwaju is only two years in office.”

Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, asserts that his nearly 20-year friendship with President Tinubu will not be weakened by political ties.

Tinubu is in “robust health and high spirits,” according to Soludo, who spoke in Abuja on Tuesday just after a private meeting with the president at the State House. He called the conversation “quite pleasant.”

“There is nothing I regret about it,” Soludo remarked. A buddy of mine is President Tinubu. You shouldn’t reject your friend because we have been friends for twenty-two years and counting.

“He has made some brave actions, especially in the areas of structural reforms and the economy, and I support him. We must continue forward because we are making the correct decisions.

The governor of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) claimed that his belief in Tinubu’s support is based on a larger ideological belief that progressive parties ought to work together.
