The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 of its personnel as part of the ongoing reforms in the agency.
In a statement, yesterday, the agency advised members of the public to desist from dealing with the dismissed personnel on behalf of the service.
It published the names and pictures of the 115 dismissed personnel on its website.
“As part of the ongoing reforms in the Department of State Services (DSS), the public is, hereby, informed that 115 personnel have been dismissed over a period.
“Members of the public are, therefore, advised to desist from any official dealing with these individuals who have been dismissed by the Service,” the statement said
The affected operatives were dismissed between 2024 and 2025.
In October, DSS arrested two dismissed officers, Barry Donald and Victor Godwin, for allegedly using the agency’s name to defraud citizens.
Before the arrest, the agency had asked Nigerians to desist from engaging with the two dismissed officers over alleged fraud.
