Police nab 3 robbers ,recover motorcycle in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspected robbers in Idimu area of the state. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the command recorded another operational success in its ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities across the State.
According to her, in the early hours of Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at about 2:00 a.m., operatives of the Command on routine patrol, along Car Wash Bus-Stop, by First Bank, in Idimu , intercepted three individuals on a motorcycle.
“Upon search, the three suspects: Abdullahi Mustapha,20 , Salisu Sannusi,30, and Jamiu Sahidu, 26 , were arrested. A search on the suspects, led to the recovery of a machete concealed in their clothing, Army camouflage uniform, four mobile phones, one power bank, suspected to have been unlawfully taken from the owners, some squeezed naira notes and a Bajaj motorcycle, with registration number: AKD 40 OM, reportedly used for mobility in carrying out their criminal operations.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects have been involved in robbing unsuspecting members of the public before fleeing the scene. They are currently in police custody, while efforts are ongoing to conclude investigations and ensure appropriate legal action is taken.
