The Young Talent Football Club of Badagry held a special ceremony to express profound gratitude to industrialist and philanthropist Chief Dr. Chukwuebuka Onunkwo, Odoziobo I, following his recent visit to the club’s home ground and generous donation of team jerseys.
During the August fixture, Chief Dr. Onunkwo attended alongside his son, Chukwuebuka Jr., who notably scored two brilliant goals for the side. His presence “was a great surprise, an inspiration and a moral booster,” said Club President and Head Coach Utaka. “It brought great honour and a sense of belonging to us all. We are very delighted and grateful for this great honour.”
Coach Utaka highlighted Dr. Onunkwo’s ongoing commitment to community growth:

The club also announced its intention to appoint Chief Dr. Onunkwo as Club Patron, recognizing his role as Chairman/CEO of Sea‑Horse Lubricant Industries Limited and his “great passion for community progress.”
