Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu has voiced irritation with Victor Osimhen’s hesitation about a permanent move to the Turkish champions.
Kavukcu reportedly cautioned Osimhen that his indecision would compel the team to consider alternate choices.
The Nigerian striker had a standout 2024-2025 season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and giving eight assists in 41 appearances to help Okan Buruk’s team win both the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.
Galatasaray has reportedly submitted a hefty offer that exceeds what other European clubs have proposed as they continue to pursue his signature.

However, Osimhen, who is presently on vacation in Nigeria, has postponed making a final choice on his future, despite having turned down offers from Saudi club Al Hilal.
“He’s making us wait, but time is running out,” Kavukcu said. “We’ve offered him figures higher than those proposed in Europe.”
Meanwhile, in England, Chelsea has officially withdrawn from any negotiations for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
According to Sky Sports News, the Blues decided against pursuing the French international after considering their current goalkeeping alternatives. POCO smartphones.
Chelsea currently has four goalkeepers on their roster: Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic, and Mike Penders, and has decided that at least two will go this summer.
One is anticipated to join Ligue 1 club Strasbourg on loan, while another will be sold in an effort to balance the squad and provide game time elsewhere.
Although Chelsea was offered Maignan early in the transfer season, the club turned away without making a formal proposal. As it stands, manager Enzo Maresca’s chances of signing a new goalkeeper this summer are slim.
