The Delta State Police Command is planning a massive crackdown on traffic offenders with mobile courts operational across the state. Offenders will face immediate arrest and prosecution for violations such as reckless driving, unauthorized number plates, and obstruction.
According to Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the police would strengthen surveillance and patrol operations in major towns, including Asaba, Warri, and Effurun. The move is aimed at restoring order, improve road safety, and protect lives and property.
“The Delta State Police Command warns that there will be zero tolerance for traffic indiscipline and impunity. Law-abiding residents have nothing to fear, but violators will face the full weight of the law.”
